DRUM ROLL. The 2022 winner of the Pat Herring award is “Trespasser” a graphic novel by Breena Bird. Forty five students grades 3-5 read some of the nominees. The winner was selected by the students who read six or more on the list.
Fourth Grade students had a lesson on flag etiquette and practiced folding the flag. Thank you to the American Legion for sharing with the students today.

Second and third grade students watched a virtual presentation today presented by engineers from GM. They emphasized the importance of math and science in our lives.
We have just received word that due to injuries Altoona Midway will not be able to field a softball team for the first round of regional softball. Yates Center will advance to the semifinals and will play on 5/17 @ 3:00 PM at Lebo.
