
The Emporia golf meet has been postponed for today. A make-up date will be set in April.

Tonight's baseball and softball games at Jayhawk - Linn have been postponed. The tentative make-up will be: Baseball at Jayhawk - Linn on April 1 starting at 4:30 PM. (If the field is playable). Softball at Jayhawk - Linn on April 12 starting at 4:30 PM.

There is a change in the Woodson School District's Calendar. There will be no school on April 15, but there will be school on Monday-April 18 and Tuesday April 19 to meet state attendance requirements due to Covid and weather cancellations.

Youth Rec Track practice for today, Wednesday March 30th, has been cancelled due to the weather.

Preschool celebrated Kyson's birthday today! Happy Birthday!

Congratulations to Sean Hurst being selected to the Sports in Kansas Basketball All Class 2A Second Team. He has earned all state honors as a multi-sport athlete in both basketball and football.


YCHS Band students attended the League Band event and had a blast! Students from across our league came together to rehearse and put on a concert all in a single afternoon! It was great to get out and play with other students!

These 4th graders have been working on IXL math! Sierra Stoll has mastered 200 math objectives! Students mastering 100 objectives include Maverick Eakin, Derek Jones, Karter Westerman, Quinlyn Yoho, Sage Griffith, Emmitt McVey, Conner Plegge, Addison Clay and Brantley Olson. Well done kids! Keep working hard!


8th grade concluded their unit on Pythagorean Theorem on Friday with the Barbie Zip Line! They've been looking forward to it all year. Students used the Pythagorean Theorem to design a fun, but safe, zip line for Barbie. They had to get approval for their designs and stay within a budget. They had a blast!
