
7th and 8th grade band students had the opportunity to play in the JH Southeast League band this week! Marmaton Valley hosted several schools for this group concert. The students put together and rehearsed three pieces and then put on a wonderful concert. Dr. Frank Perez, Director of Bands from Baker University, was the guest director and worked with the students all afternoon. Go YC band!

Move to Give Day has been changed from tomorrow to Monday, April 11th due to the weather. There will also be a lunch menu change; tomorrow will be Wildcat Burger and Monday will be Picnic Day with hot dogs.

The FFA Petting Zoo originally scheduled for tomorrow, April 8th has been postponed! The rescheduled date will be posted when available!

The baseball and softball games at Southeast today have been postponed! A makeup date has not been scheduled at this time.

Play Ball!! The field is dry at Jayhawk-Linn so the Cats will be playing baseball. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 PM. The team will be dismissed at 1:30 PM. Good Luck.

8th grade Ag students visited Woodson Co. Prime meats today as part of their unit on beef production/grading. They were able to see the steps it takes in butchering and processing our local beef.
