The junior high volleyball and football traveled to Oswego tonight. The volleyball team won their B team game. The C and A team lost hard fought games.
The JH football lost tonight as well. All teams played very hard and am proud of them all.

Mr. Barnes's media class took a field trip to watch a production of the noon newscast at KOAM yesterday. What a great experience for these young students.

YCHS Volleyball is teaming up with local sponsors to benefit Adlei Minor. Next Tuesday is the event! See the flyers for more info! Come out and support the Wildcats and Adlei!!



We would love to have anyone interested in the Washington D.C. trip for the summer of 2024 to come to the informational meeting next Monday October 9th at 6:30 PM in the HS auditorium! This trip is open to current 7th and 8th graders and any adult that is willing to chaperone. The flyer attached is to RSVP for the meeting.

The Pat Herring Book Challenge for grades 4 through 6 has started. Students have to read and pass tests on six of the books in order to participate in the trip later in the Spring.

YCHS Football falls at home against Cedar Vale 0-51

Mrs. Estes’ 5th graders learned how Native American Tribes carved symbols into rocks called Petroglyphs for communication. Then, they drew their own petroglyph into a rock. After that, they wrote a paper describing how that symbol resonates with them.
