Mrs. Estes and Ms. Hendrickson's 5th grade classes had a "hole" lot of fun doing Dunkin' Math today. After a great lesson on money, everyone enjoyed a tasty donut.
After learning about fairy tales, Ms. Cradduck’s class made summary crowns about the book Princess Hyacinth using their “5-finger summaries.” They can tell you the summary of any book just by using their 5 fingers!
October 2nd is National School Custodian Day. Woodson USD #366 has some of the best around! Thank you for all of your work to make our facilities sparkle.
Students in Kindergarten, First and Second Grades will be visiting virtually with author, Kevin Rader, on Oct. 19th. He is offering the students the opportunity to order his book "What's That?" ahead of time and have them signed by him. Orders forms were sent home last week or you can print one off here. They are due back by Monday, Oct. 4th.

Fourth Grade students spent some time today learning about the past at Fredonia while visiting Old Iron Days. They saw demonstrations of antique farm equipment while learning how farming has changed throughout the years.
Noah was very helpful and kind by helping his teacher clean up the classroom today without being asked. Thank you Noah!
Lily was very kind and courteous letting 2 of her friends have room and take a turn to see our class pet the first time we met them.
Adley was helpful and kind by helping her teacher pick up something she had dropped without being asked.
The football game this Friday has been cancelled due to injuries.
