Four HS Band students went to Independence HS for KSHSAA solo contest and performed 6 solos.
Judging was very strict. All soloists received ratings of IIs on their solos, which is considered “excellent”

Last Friday, Guest Speaker, Kurt Jackson spoke to the Ladycats Softball Team about the mental side of sports and how to navigate being a young adult. He shared tips and strategies to help with things like building confidence, managing stress, and setting goals. It was all about developing a strong mindset both on and off the field.
This was an amazing talk and we appreciate Kurt taking the time out of his day to come and speak to these young ladies!
