Girls Day in Aviation: This morning the girls learned about Artemis and other space missions. They made and tested foam rockets. This afternoon they will get to make and test circuits.

YCES students have CORRECTLY answered over 105,000 questions and MASTERED 3,845 objectives after just 2 weeks of our IXL Shoot For the Stars challenge!! We currently have a two-way tie for 1st place between the kindergarteners and 3rd graders. The 5th graders are in a very close 2nd place. Keep shooting for the stars, YCES students!

JJ Edwards and Jake from State Farm visited Mrs. Taylor’s Consumer & Personal Finance class. JJ Edwards presented an interactive lesson to the seniors about the types and value of insurance as well as the importance of driving safe and undistracted. Jake just stood there.
8 FCCLA members from YCHS attended the District H Fall Leadership Conference in Ottawa, KS. YCHS earned the Active Chapter Award and participated in the human machine team building activity.
