The sixth graders researched volcanoes and after their research they made a volcano to represent the one they researched. One sixth grade section completed their projects last week and the other section is presently working on theirs. The entire school was excited to see the ones last week and cannot wait to see the rest of the students projects.

Last Wednesday, the 8th grade made a trip to Linn County, KS to a few historic sites. First we visited the Marais Des Cygnes Massacre site, then Mine Creek Battle site and museum, and lastly Mound City. Thank you to Mr. Barnes for accompanying and sharing his knowledge of the area. His cousin, Jim, also was able to show and tell us about a family relic- a sword from the Mine Creek Battle. It was a fun, learning experience for all!!
