I know there is a JH basketball game that night, so if you are unable to attend, I can get you the information you need. 6th grade students are learning about the heart and lungs in health class. They will move on to CPR next, but first they had a great experience dissecting a heart and lung.

Saturday, November 2, 10 High School students went to Pittsburg High School to audition for the Southeast Kansas Music Educators Association All District Ensembles (Choir and Band). Those students were: Charlee Deeder-Kirkpatrick, Khloey Deeder-Kirkpatrick; Haven Martin; Payten Ballin; Kori Simmons; Cecille Ngunjiri; Danielle Tidd; Asher Arnold; Corbin Schultz; Isaac Stoll.
The following students were selected for All District Honor Band:
Danielle Tidd-12th chair clarinet
Corbin Schultz-4th Chair Bass Clarinet
Isaac Stoll-6th Chair Bass Clarinet
Asher Arnold-3rd Chair Alto Saxophone
Cecille Ngunjiri-Alternate Trumpet
This is not an easy competition as these students were competing with 1-5A schools for the few positions available. When you see these students on Monday, please let them know you are Wildcat Proud of all of them, including the ones who were not selected


Mrs. Estes’ 5th grade ELA classes had to complete 5 reading challenges to escape the Haunted House Classroom! After they completed each challenge, they drew a “trick” or a “treat” card. Seeing their reactions was priceless. They had so much fun. 🎃👻

Mrs. Huffman took our juniors and freshman to a career day at Labette County HS. It was a day for our students to get information on possible future careers.
