The Lloyd Steel Memorial Scholarship was established by his family in 1987 for the purpose of awarding two scholarships to Seniors wanting to further their education. Each scholarship is in the amount of $375.00. This year the recipients are: Sarah Barry and Caden Graham
The H. E. Gene Johnston Scholarship. Mr. Johnston established this scholarship to recognize a YCHS graduate and help support their education endeavors. Each recipient will receive a one time offering of $500.00. This year's recipients are: Sarah Barry and Stephenie Righini
The Crandall Ranch Scholarship was established in 2005 by the late Mr. & Mrs. Abbot Crandall. The scholarship is to be awarded to a senior who is going into an agricultural related field. The scholarship is in the amount of $300.00 and this year’s recipient is: Kayle Smith
The Don & Sharon Elder Memorial Scholarship. Because of their love of baseball & softball the scholarship is being offered to senior members of the YCHS softball team.This years scholarship is for $100.00 and the recipients are: Madelyn Collins, Julia Day and Taylor Jacobs

This morning Mrs. Panko's 5th grade did a Mystery Skype via ZOOM with another class from Illinois. Our class was able to answer their state first and won. Congrats! Thanks to everyone who showed up and was patience with technology and learning how to make this work!

SEKCAP Head Start now has their applications on-line on the SEKCAP website (https://www.sek-cap.com/). Parents can go in and fill out application. Even now Head Start is always looking for children and families for their program!

Attention Seniors: Senior check out will be held on May 7 and May 8 from 9:00 - Noon. This is the time to check in all items from the school, pick up cap and gown and pay fees. There will be a limited number of students allowed in the building at one time.
GRADUATION RESCHEDULED: The class of 2020 will hold their commencement ceremony on Saturday, June 20 at 10:00 AM in Norris Gym. Graduation rehearsal will be on June 19 at 9:00 AM. More information will be announced closer to the date.
Last Friday, Randy and Cindy got out to deliver a meal and found that they had a flat. Paul O'Brien jumped in to help. He had a jack and changed the tire in no time. Paul we wanted to make sure that you know that without you our meals would of been late. Thank you so much for stepping up and taking care of our drivers! Paul you are amazing! Thank you!
