COVID-19 Update, October 23, 2020
The Public Health Department is reporting 6 active COVID cases in Woodson County this week. This puts the Woodson School District in its yellow phase for the week of October 26. To ensure that you can keep your student(s) in school have them wear a mask. Reminder, there will no school October 26!

We know that by making healthy choices, like staying drug free, you are more likely to live the best life for you. It's Red Ribbon Week at YCES/MS!


YCES/MS celebrates Red Ribbon Week starting today.


This year’s Red Ribbon Week theme is Be Happy. Be Brave. Be Drug Free. The theme is a call to action to speak out in support of healthy choices. It also serves as a reminder that we can help shape all those around us by staying positive, brave and strong!
"Let's Sock It to Drugs!" Tuesday is crazy sock day so wear your craziest socks YCES students & staff.


Farmers to Families Food Delivery the next 3 Saturdays, October 17, 24 & 31!! They will be on the YC Square from 11:00 a.m. till all the boxes are gone! One box per family!! Drive up & stay in your car!! Boxes will be brought to your car!

This week is National 4-H week. Cayten, Kevin, Mylin and Wylee did a fantastic job talking to the second grades classes today about the purpose of 4-H, how to join, and what their favorite projects are.


Third grade students in Mrs Fountain’s class learned about Electric and Magnetic Interactions today through a Greenbush Virtual Lab.





The health department announces availability of flu shots for Woodson County.


The county health department is reporting one active case of COVID-19 in Woodson County as of October 15, 2020. The Woodson School District is officially in the Green phase of its COVID phases for the week of October 19, 2020. Just a reminder, if you want your student(s) to avoid quarantine due to a possible exposure at school, have them wear a mask!
