The Yates Center FFA Horse Judging team brought home a third place plaque from the SE District Career Development Event. Hannah Jones was fifth and Izzy Lewis won the 10th place medal.

MS Boys Basketball: There will be a Parent Meeting for boys basketball (grades 6-12) on Monday October 18 at 6:30 pm in Norris Gym. Middle school basketball practice will begin on October 18 (ending at 6:15 pm on Monday only). Normal middle school practices will end at 5:30 pm.

Middle school girls basketball practice will begin on Monday, October 18th. A sign-up sheet will be outside Mrs. Turner's door starting Tuesday. Basketball is open to any 6th-8th grade girls. Players will need a physical on file with the school prior to starting practice. There will be a brief parent meeting following practice on the 18th. Hello! To everyone who ordered a hoodie from TAUDD, first and again, thank you! After some supply, COVID, and homecoming responsibility delays, the hoodies are going to be ready for pick up at the football game on Friday, October 15 (Parents Night). Checks may be made payable to the YCHS Activity Fund/TAUDD. Checks or cash are accepted. Payment is NOT required until you take delivery.
