We have just received word that due to injuries Altoona Midway will not be able to field a softball team for the first round of regional softball. Yates Center will advance to the semifinals and will play on 5/17 @ 3:00 PM at Lebo.
PK-8th Grade Yearbooks that were ordered in advance will be sent home with students today! If you missed ordering there will be extra copies for sale in the Elementary School Office for a limited time! The cost will be $20.

The class of 2022 would like to thank the Woodson County Ministerial Alliance and members of the First Presbyterian Church of Yates Center for hosting the Baccalaureate on Wednesday Night. This event was greatly appreciated by those in attendance.

Mrs. Turner's 8th grade classes completed phase one of the Barbie Bungee Jump! Students compared the number of rubber bands in the bungee to the depth of her jump to create scatter plots. Then, students found a line of best fit for their plot, wrote an equation for their trend lines, and used that equation to predict the number of rubber bands needed for Barbie to drop off the old stadium. Stay tuned for the final drop Friday!
