
The Pat Herring Reading Challenge trip took 13 students to Fort Scott. First they toured the Fort and learned many things at each station. Then they met with the Fort Scott College Rodeo team. A great day was had by all 13 students.





Hannah Jones: 4th place in Milk Quality and 12th in Ag Management
Aidan Yoho: 1st in Vet Science and 3rd in Milk Quality
Milk Quality team consisting of Aidan, Hannah, Molly, and Tisha placed 6th out of 40 teams
The YCHS FFA organized competed in state CDE's in Manhattan this past weekend. Results are:
Vet Science team consisting of Aidan, Hannah, Chayse, and Emery placed 5th out of 66 teams
Livestock judging team consisting of Aidan, Emery, Lauren, and Sadye placed 9th out of 79 teams





Events cancelled for today: There will be no golf at Fort Scott and no baseball at Yates Center today. The track meet scheduled at Humboldt has been moved to Monday. Thanks

Jacob Cooper, author of Heroes on the Job, visited with students Pre K through second grade today. Students enjoyed his book and hearing how he got it published.

First Graders completed the Pat Herring Memorial Book Challenge. They were rewarded with a new book and an ice cream party. Thank you, Family and Friends of Mrs. Herring.
