KSHSAA Kay Club Award

THANKS FOR SUPPORT OF KAY CLUB; DISPLAYING STATE PLAQUE

On behalf of the KSHSAA, we would like to thank you for providing a KAY program for the students in your school. As you know, membership in the Kay program (a character-building, leadership-training, service organization) is open to all students in your school. This organization provides a wonderful opportunity for all of your students to participate and experience the rewards of leadership, teamwork and service while learning the importance of assuming their citizenship responsibility.

We appreciate your support in allowing your KAY student leaders and their sponsor(s) to attend the recent KAY Regional Conference. We especially are grateful for the financial support given by your school for transportation, securing a sub for your sponsor and to those of you who make the payment of the student leader registration fees. This annual fall conference provides a tremendous opportunity for the KAY leaders in your school to gain confidence and become motivated to inspire other student members as they continue their focus on leadership and service to others.

Congratulations to your KAY Club on their Gold Award for leadership and service during the 2018-2019 school year! KAY members, working together, may earn a KAY Gold, Blue or Red service award. We know you must be very proud of your KAY club and all they have done and will continue to do as they step forward to provide leadership, service and promote school spirit.

In case you are not aware, all KAY clubs have a special KSHSAA KAY Plaque to commemorate their leadership and service accomplishments. This special state award allows a KAY club to display their yearly service award. As your school proudly displays other team awards earned by your students, I encourage you to find a prominent place in your school trophy place to showcase the leadership and service accomplishments of your KAY organization.

Thanks for all you do to support all of your students in their participation in KSHSAA activity programs.
