Our breakfast and lunch program operates under the authority of the State and Federal government. The nutritional requirements and regulations of this program are issued by the United States Department of Agriculture and are met daily to provide each student a nutritional and reimbursable meal. The food service program is another part of our eductional system designed to teach the improtance of a well-balanced meal as well as acceptable social skills. To ensure that each meal is reimbursable, students eating breakfast must choose three of the five items offered. Milk choices are offered with all meals. Our Board of Education has established a closed lunch period so students that choose not to participate in our lunch program may bring their own lunches if desired. Any student bringing his or her lunch must eat in the area designeated by the administation.
